On Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 7:30PM to 10:30 PM, Stormy Thorson will be singing at Flat Iron Café and ushering in a new style of music for the restaurant’s Saturday Night Music Series.

Stormy Thorson’s solo acoustic act is a must see and hear for everyone who enjoys a night out with friends. A well rounded musician working in the South of Boston area, Stormy plays a range of diverse music influenced by Green Day and Dave Mathews, Sublime to ZZ Top to Led Zeppelin and Creedence Clearwater Revival to Elvis, Johnny Cash and The Beatles. Stormy has 18 years experience in all aspects of music and his self-taught style of acoustic guitar playing has been in the works since 1996. As well as his vocal talents, Stormy brings his experience with many different musical instruments to the stage each night.

Currently Stormy is also the drummer and a vocalist for the rock band, Trembling Hands as well as the drummer for the blues/rock/soul band, Dirty Sugar. You can find out more about Stormy at his web site: http://stormyacoustic.orgfree.com/.

Saturday nights are the nights to be at Flat Iron Café, in the heart of Everett Square in Middleboro! From 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM we offer half-price pizza and the live music goes from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM!
