“World Tour” may be a stretch right now but Flat Iron Café is thrilled to present a new performer in our line-up of Saturday night musical performances.
Mark Belanger plays an eclectic mix of bluegrass, old time, folk, rock, and pop covers with a bit of original material thrown in. He started of playing in South Shore rock bands in the late 70′s and 80′s before migrating to bluegrass and old time music in more recent years. He is currently playing with the bluegrass quartet Laughing Grass and the NayBob’s – a two to three piece group that plays a wider mix of material.
This will be a solo acoustic gig – something that is a bit new to Mark. He will be playing a mix of old time, bluegrass and folk as well as deep cuts from bands like The Beatles, Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, and a smattering of original music.
Join Mark and his growing flock of groupies at Flat Iron Café – located at 444 Centre Street in Middleboro – on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 8:00 pm to 11:00 PM for what’s sure to be a great night of great music, food and friends.
